Frequently Asked Questions
Cloud.fate.ovh is designed to allow users to seamlessly upload their files to the server privately.
How do I upload a file?
To upload a file, you'll need to have ShareX installed, which you can obtain by clicking here. Once installed, you can capture anything on your screen using your configured ShareX settings. You also need to download your custom ShareX configuration file. After installing ShareX, visit Your Files, download the configuration file, and double-click it to set it up in ShareX. Additionally, you can upload files by right-clicking them and selecting "Upload with ShareX."
Is there a limit on how much content i can upload?
The limit depends on the number of active users, but you typically shouldn't have any issues uploading content unless you're reaching extreme limits within a short period, such as 100-200 GB in 24 hours.
Can i share my secret key with other people?
No. Although you can technically regenerate your key and share it with others, doing so puts your uploader account at risk of being permanently banned. There are automated systems in place that can detect unauthorized sharing of keys.
My account has been banned, what happened?
If your account has been banned, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
- Uploading inappropriate content, such as CP/NSFW material
- Uploading violent or graphic content (gore)
- Spamming the API with unnecessary requests
* You may appeal your ban by joining us on Discord and contacting an administrator.
I purchased an invite, what's next?
After purchasing an invite, you can sign up for an account here. You will be prompted to enter your invite code during the registration process.
Can i resell my account to someone else?
No. Attempting to resell your account will not only result in a permanent ban, but it will also prevent you from creating any future accounts, even with valid invites.
How do i preview the content i've uploaded?
Your content can be previewed. Head over to Your Files and hover over an upload's name. This will preview it in the bottom right corner of your screen. Note that this only applies to JPG, PNG, GIF, and MP4 files. This will not affect TXT files, but you can click those to open them in a new tab. For MP3 (audio) files, you can click to unmute audio, and then you can hover over the filename. Alternatively, you can click to play the audio without needing to hover over the filename.
